Series of creative arts consultations with local residents in Barholm, Erskine. Working with artist Stella Phipps, we engaged residents in the local supermarket to collect entries for a bench design competition for young people and to gather ideas and priorities for public arts works they would like to see in the area.

Sensory Art and Storytelling workshops
Series of sensory art workshops with students at Darnley Primary School with artists Fionn Duffy and Nina Goldsmith. Students worked together to make animal themed totem pole, with workshops culminating in a performance with the story. Part of the Artist Mentoring Programme course with Impact Arts.

Now, Soup
Now, Soup was the first Now City Glasgow event, an online space for people working on socially driven projects, co-initiated with Kirsty Neale. Now, Soup is a micro-grant community dinner based on Detroit Soup model. The Now, Soup team is Kirsty Neale, Allisa Murphy Mcfarlen, Ed, Stella, Thierry Lye and Zoe Charlotte Pearson. Collaborative Cardboard City
During the Orkidstudio EMPOWERMENT exhibition at the Lighthouse, Glasgow. Over 70 visitors participated in the building of a collaborative cardboard city over four weeks. Each week explored a theme from the exhibition; Inspire, Equality, Enterprise and Educate. Visitors were asked to imagine an alternative future for Glasgow through making and create postcards stories in response to the themes. Architecture Schools Programme
Cross curricular architecture workshop programme with Orkidstudio. The workshops focused on the theme of shelter and used active making to increase awareness of the social and global aspects of the built environment. Workshops included the Future Community Challenge with 3rd year students at Hutchesons’ Grammar School and visiting dutch students from Van der Capellen SG. Students worked in teams to design a cardboard city, starting by thinking about community groups and their needs. Also delivered the Shelter Challenge workshop at the first ever SmartSTEMs event, with girls from Hillhead Primary, St Ninians High School, Paisley Grammar School and St Saviors Primary. Students worked in teams to build a structure big enough to the group.

Bomnong L’Or Centre, Cambodia
The Goodwill Centre is a Charity providing supplementary education to children and the local community in the coastal port city of Sihanoukville, Cambodia. In 2015 Orkidstudio in 2015 undertook the process of designing, funding and constructing new facilities. Built with a team of volunteers and local labourers, the project was completed in 8 weeks. Woodlands Feltmaking Workshops
Feltmaking workshops with Illustrator Stella Phipps as part of Doors Open Day in the beautiful Woodlands Community Gardens. Over the three days participants of all ages created nature inspired felted panels that were sewn together to make a vibrant patchwork for the garden’s tipi.
